Morar is a large comfortable home on a croft running down to the shore, with wonderful views over the Sound of Sleat.   Located in the village of Ardvasar, on the Sleat peninsula on the Isle of Skye (known as The Garden of Skye). Guests are welcome to simply sit and enjoy the view from the terrace, or to wander around the meadow and native woodland, and on to the shore.  The trees are regenerating native species, and the meadow includes rare orchids.  Apart from our chickens (some of whom even like a cuddle!), cats and children, there is plenty of wildlife, including oystercatchers on the rocks and otters in the right-hand bay.  Its location makes it a good base to explore Skye and the less famous but lovely Lochalsh.
