Luxury accommodation on the Isle of Skye
Your bed and breakfast accommodation is to be found near the centre of the village. Pass the Ardvasar Hotel on the right, continue up the hill and take the second turning on the left. Morar is situated at the end of the lane.
We can collect you from / deliver you to the Armadale - Mallaig ferry which is about a mile away.
There is a pub and restaurant 250 metres from Morar
A friendly WELCOME to the romantic and peaceful Garden of Skye ...
Morar is a large comfortable house on a working croft overlooking the sea in the village of Ardvasar, on the Sleat peninsula (known as The Garden of Skye). Sleat is in the South of the Island where the Gulf Stream influences the climate.
Our south facing terrace and dining room have extensive sea views. Dolphins and whales can often be watched from the terrace and the garden. Guests are welcome to walk in the grounds and on to the shore at the bottom of the garden where otters and seals can sometimes be seen. It is ideal for a honeymoon, quiet retreat and short breaks on the Isle of Skye. Its location makes it a good base to explore Skye and the less famous but lovely Lochalsh
The indoor heated swimming pool is also available for the use of guests. Breakfast options include our own free range eggs, home-made bread and preserves, local produce including fish and vegetarian alternatives as well as cooked Scottish breakfasts.
For lunch there are 3 restaurants within a mile and another 4 within 10 miles
We have three large rooms to let to guests:
- A double/family room with its own bathroom.
- A large double that can also accommodate a family.
- A smaller twin room.
The second two rooms share a shower room.
All rooms are equipped with TV, video and tea/coffee making facilities.
