Breakfast at Morar

We take care to provide our guests with delicious, homemade breakfasts.  Guests can help themselves to cereals, homemade muesli, fruit compote and yogurt.  We provide a number of different cooked breakfast options, including meat, fish and veggie dishes.  You would need to stay more than a week to sample all the choices!

Where possible we source our ingredients locally, and organic and fairtrade wherever possible.  Our free-range chickens lay eggs on the croft outside – have them cooked anyway you wish: poached, fried, scrambled, boiled, in an omelette.  We get our sausages, bacon, black pudding and haggis from a local butcher that makes his own in Kyle of Lochalsh.  All our fish – smoked salmon, un-dyed smoked haddock and kippers (smoked herring) comes from the smokehouse of Andy Race across the Sound in Mallaig.  We make our own veggie sausages: no quorn or tofu, just tasty, proper veg.  Breads, marmalade and jams are all homemade.
